Detainees at Guantanamo Bay were denied the right to protest their imprisonment on the basis that their right to Habeas Corpus had been revoked by the Military Commissions Act...which was passed by Congress and thus the law of the land. Hold up...does Congress really have the right to legislate the rights of the citizens of other countries, let alone ours?
